SUMMARY:KS1 EASTER MULTI-SKILLS FESTIVAL at Barnwood Park HS
DESCRIPTION:EVENT FORMAT \nThere will be 8 different multi-skills stations based on the EYFS basics of\ntarget-throwing\, balancing\, coordination and agility\, aimed at all abilities.\nPupils should bring along a drink and wear a sports kit. Due to the nature of the indoor tennis courts\, we recommend that pupils wear long trousers.\nTRANSPORT BOOKING\nDue to the popularity of these events we recommend that schools book their transport well in advance. We have teamed up with Bennetts Coaches whom are happy to take on bookings as early as September for the 2023/24 academic year. No cancellation fee will be applied as long as schools cancel within their 2 week cancellation notice period.\nEASTER BONNET COMPETITION\nPupils are invited to create an Easter Bonnet; there will be prizes for the most original. \nTHE TEAMS\nThere is no limit on the number of classes each school can bring.\nGroups should be made of up to 30 pupils from KS1\, including Reception. \nEVENT LEAD \nThe GSSN staff will be leading this event with the support of Secondary School Sport Leaders. \nWednesday 18th March\nAM SESSION: 9.30 – 11.30\nPM SESSION: 12.30 – 14.30 \nThursday 19th March\nAM SESSION: 9.30 – 11.30\nPM SESSION: 12.30 – 14.30
