DESCRIPTION:All schools are invited to bring along a group of children to perform a wither a dance or an additional performing arts acts. If schools have a group of children who want to read a Christmas poem or act out a Christmas sketch\, then send along their details. There are no limitations on the number of pupils and/or groups each school can bring. \nThis Festival will provide a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to experience the excitement of preparing for a stage show and then being given a ‘performance platform’. \nThe Festival Format\n16.00 School dance groups arrive. Briefing and rehearsal on stage with music and lights\n18.00 Doors open for tickets sales – refreshments available\n18.30 Start of show\nThe end of the show is to be confirmed depending on the number of acts (approximate time 19.30 / 19.45) \nTickets\nThis is a cash only event.\nSchools to let us know how many approximate tickets are required for family and/or friends/other spectators.\nThere will be no advance selling of tickets – all spectators are to purchase their tickets at the door at 18.00 before the show starts at 18.30.\nCost of the tickets (this has remained unchanged since 2011):\nPLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO ARD PAYMENT FACILITIES – CASH ONLY. \nAdults £5.00 (16 or over)\nChild £2.50\nFamily of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) £13.00 \n·Programmes will be available at the door free of charge. \nSchools wishing to take part\, please email bh@gssn.co.uk

SUMMARY:KS2 SEND TABLE TOP CRICKET FESTIVAL
DESCRIPTION:NEW EVENT! All Affiliated schools are invited to attend our first KS2 SEND TABLE TOP CRICKET FESTIVAL. \nEVENT FORMAT KS2 SEND TABLE TOP CRICKET\nTable top cricket is an adapted version of cricket\, played on a table tennis table\, designed for people with disabilities\, but also enjoyed by all\nThe game uses a ball\, bat\, ball launcher\, and side panels to simulate the elements of a cricket pitch\, with bowlers using a ramp to deliver the ball. The batter aims to hit the ball into scoring zones\, avoiding fielders who are positioned around the table.  \nTHE TEAMS\nKS2 SEND TABLE TOP:  8 pupils\, mixed boys and girls.\nSchools can enter a whole class for each of the events. \nEVENT LEAD\nGSSN staff will work alongside the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation to run these events.
