Please arrive between 9:30 am- 9.45 am to ensure you have time to change. \nTHE TEAMS\nThis competition is for SEND primary-aged children (KS2 only).\nEach team should be made up of between 6 and 8 students of mixed gender with cognitive or physical disabilities. \nEVENT LEAD \nThe Panathlon Foundation\, working in partnership with the GSSN\, will be running the competition. Panathlon runs many of these events across the country as it tries to engage new children in a sporting activity. \nEVENT FORMAT \nAll competing students must be able to swim 10m with or without swimming aids. Each student who competes for the team will be allocated points at the beginning of the competition based on their disability. Please note the aim is to involve students who wouldn’t normally get the chance to compete for their school.\nEach team must include 2 swimmers capable of swimming 25m unaided. All races are mixed gender\, age & disability. Note that there will be leaders in the water who can support students.\nAll competitors will receive a participation certificate and a medal.
