DISNEY INSPIRED GIRLS’ SHOOTING STARS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL At Ribston Hall HS

We are pleased to offer our schools the chance to participate in our fun Disney-Inspired Shooting Stars Football Festival. Many of your schools are now running clubs using the Disney shooting stars resources and this event will be a celebration for girls recently introduced to football.

Please encourage your girls to dress up as their favorite Disney character from the top upwards (no long dresses).
Mini mouse ears, Princess crowns, Dalmation Spots – the choice is endless, as seen in the picture below!

THE TEAMS: 10 pupils per year group, schools can enter groups in one or both year groups.

EVENT FORMAT
Disney inspired Shooting Stars by England Football is made up of two initiatives; Active Play Through Story Telling and Girls’ Football Clubs, both have been developed to support the engagement of girls aged 5-11 years old in sport at school and in the home.
This event will be a celebration for all the girls currently involved in this programme or new to football.
Schools to bring own set of bibs in case of team colour clashes.
Two sessions will run consecutively then the groups will swap sessions.
Session 1 – skill based circuit
Session 2 – small sided tournament
