We are very pleased to be able to offer our schools the opportunity to take part in an Orienteering Festival. This will be the last of a number of outdoor and adventurous activities events organised for our Gloucester Schools at the Robinswood Hill Country Park,
With the support of Secondary School Sport Leaders, pupils will take part in a series our orienteering, and team challenges and even have a chance to navigate the new nature sculpture trail.
They can spot wildlife all around them and enjoy a truly special outdoor experience on their doorstep, which we hope will inspire them to take family and friends back.
The activities will encourage teamwork, listening, cooperation, decision-making, leadership, and trust.
Plus we will include our ever-popular OAA obstacle course.
The Sessions:
Key Stage 1- 9.30- 11.30
Key Stage 2 – 12.00-14.00
The Teams:
School teams are made up of 10 pupils (mixed)
This will be a fun, non-competitive festival for your pupils to experience a new and exciting opportunity. This festival is aimed at those pupils who have not represented their school in previous sporting events and who might prefer a less competitive activity.
