KS1 GIRLS TAG RUGBY FESTIVAL

This is a new event this year! A fun introduction to tag rugby in a girl’s only environment.
Please note the change o venue! It will take place at Gordon League RFC, Hempsted Lane, Gloucester, GL2 5JN
THE TEAMS
As this is a skills based event schools are welcome to bring one class of KS1 girls.
EVENT LEAD
Leigh Mayne will be leading this event alongside the Ribston Hall School Leaders.
EVENT FORMAT
There will be a range of activities set up for the girls to practise the core skills of catch, pass, run and the introduction of tag as a tackle and learn what a game
of Tag Rugby is. They will all get to experience the enjoyment of playing this great game in a friendly, fun way.
A fun, safe and inclusive environment, allowing individual’s to enjoy the fundamentals of rugby whilst developing personal and social skills.
