ROUNDERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP RIBSTON CUP TOURNAMENTS

All Schools are invited to take part in our Primary Rounders Tournaments which will be taking place at Ribston Hall High School.

Note that the finish time of 13.00 is approximate and will depend on the number of teams taking part.
Both tournaments are for boys and girls in Years 5 and 6 (small schools can use Year 4 students if required).
Total squad 12 players.
Each team must have no more than 9 players on the field, with at least 4 girls playing at any one time.

TEAM ELIGIBILITY
The Ribston Cup is for your school’s first-choice / strongest team and is the main Quicksticks Hockey competition.
The Plate Tournament is designed for your school’s less experienced team, giving players the opportunity to compete in a more appropriate and supportive competition.

EVENT FORMAT
For a full set of rules, refer to the GPSFA “Rounders Rules” pages 51-56 of our is Handbook.
A Plate and a Cup competition will take place simultaneously, providing schools with the choice to join either or both competitions.

EVENT LEAD
The GSSN staff, along with Ribston hall High School Sports Leaders, will be delivering the Rounders Tournaments.
