YEARS 3/4 BENCHBALL TOURNAMENT (1/2)

This is one out of two competitions that we will run this year:
1st October at Longford Park
6th October at Grange Primary
Both will run from 9.30 – 11.30

THE TEAMS
This competition is for boys and girls in Years 3 and 4.
Squad of 10 with 8 players on the court and any one time.
EVENT LEAD
The GSSN staff will be leading this event.
Primary Academy staff.
EVENT FORMAT
The overall length of the event will be 2 hours, with games of 5 minutes long.
All competitors will receive a certificate with medals being awarded to the top three placed schools.
RULES
Chest and overhead pass only with two hands.
Players can cross the centre line once play starts.
If the ball is caught by the person on the bench, the player that threw it goes on the bench.
First team to get all their players on the bench wins, or the team with the most players on the bench at the end of the game wins. If, when the ball is caught on the bench, the player falls off – it doesn’t count.
Players can’t move with the ball.
