THE FA GIRLS’ INEQUALITY FOOTBALL FESTIVAL
All schools are invited to attend our FA Girls-only Inequality Football Festival. Celebrate International Women’s Day by taking part in this exciting Girls’ Football Equality Festival. The event aims to inspire more girls to enjoy football in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment, while promoting confidence, teamwork and participation.

EVENT FORMAT
Schools may enter one team of up to 10 Year 5/6 girls, with the opportunity to bring a second team subject to availability. The festival will be delivered by trained secondary school Sports Leaders, who will receive specialist leadership training during the morning before leading the activities in the afternoon.
Teams will participate in a series of small-sided football matches and skill-based activities designed to maximise participation, enjoyment and playing time for every pupil, regardlessof previous football experience. We encourage schools to bring enthusiastic players of all abilities to help celebrate girls’ football and be part of this fantastic International Women’s Day event.

This event is open to girls from Years 5 and 6.
