NEW EVENT! All Affiliated schools are invited to attend our first KS2 SEND TABLE TOP CRICKET FESTIVAL.
EVENT FORMAT KS2 SEND TABLE TOP CRICKET
Table top cricket is an adapted version of cricket, played on a table tennis table, designed for people with disabilities, but also enjoyed by all
The game uses a ball, bat, ball launcher, and side panels to simulate the elements of a cricket pitch, with bowlers using a ramp to deliver the ball. The batter aims to hit the ball into scoring zones, avoiding fielders who are positioned around the table.
THE TEAMS
KS2 SEND TABLE TOP: 8 pupils, mixed boys and girls.
Schools can enter a whole class for each of the events.
EVENT LEAD
GSSN staff will work alongside the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation to run these events. They will also be supported by Sir Thomas Rich’s Sports Leaders.
