Girls Pre -Euro Football Festivals

All schools are invited to attend one of our girls-only pre-euro football festivals which will take part on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th June at the outside Astro of the University Arena, Plock Court GL2 9DW

Schools should bring a group of 10 girls for the sessions and year groups below. The children will take part in a carousel of skill activities followed by small-sided games. Fun and participation are the aims of these festivals.

Thursday:16th June
Year 1 & 2 – Carousel only -9.30-11.30
Year 3 & 4 – Carousel and small-sided games 12.30-14.30

Friday: 17th June
Year 5 & 6 – Carousel and small-sided games -9.30-11.30
Year 7 & 8 – Carousel and small-sided games -12.30 -14.30

Please note that the small-sided games will be ‘friendly’ games, no scores officially recorded. The games will also be a mixture of formats – for example, one game may be 3v3, the next 5v5, etc.

As we are gearing up for the Euros, so each school will be given a Country for the day and asked them to wear tops which represent that colour. These will be allocated as school registers to attend.

Schools can also, make/bring along banners, face paint, etc to bring their Country to life! The county FA has delivered it this way on previous events and it’s been great fun!
