KS1 GIRLS’ FOOTBALL FESTIVAL

All affiliated schools are invited to send a team or two to our KS1 Girls’ Football Festival.
THE TEAMS: KS1 Girls – teams of 5 and a squad of up to 10
EVENT LEAD: The event will be led by GSSN along with Ribston Hall High School PE staff and sport leaders.
EVENT FORMAT: This event will be a fun introduction to football in a girl’s only environment.
There will be two activities running side by side. Firstly, an area for the girls
to practise skills, and secondly the tournament which will take place at the
other end of the pitch.
The girls will be split into mini leagues with semi- finals and finals played at the end of the
event.
No prior experience in football is needed.
There are no restrictions on the number of teams each school can enter.
